The leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has said that the fight against terrorism in Nigeria must be fought hard, Daily Trust reported.

Tinubu yesterday expressed deep concern over the brutal killing of 43 farmers in Borno State by Boko Haram.

Farmers who were struggling, trying to provide food for their families, have been consumed by the ravaging insecurity.

He conveyed his condolences to Governor Babagana Zulum and the people of Borno State over the killing of farmers in Zabarmari village in Jere Local Government Area of ​​the state.

He made the announcement in a letter to the governor and Tinubu’s media office disclosed this to reporters.

In a separate development, the Nasarawa State governor named his twins after President Muhammadu Buhari and Senator Umar Tanko Al-Makura, Daily Trust reported.

After the governor’s wife, Hajiya Farida Abdullahi Sule, gave birth to her first child, the naming was celebrated on Tuesday at the palace of the Emir of Gudu in Akwanga Local Government Area, Alhaji Sule Bawa, who is the governor’s father.

The governor said: “I have named my children President Muhammadu Buhari and Senator Umar Tanko Al-Makura out of respect for them.”
