Singer, Davido ‘Cries’ Over Naira To Dollar Exchange Rate

Nigerian singer and song producer, Davido has cried out over naira to a dollar exchange rate in Nigeria currently.

The 30 billion Geng boss registered his displeasure with the currency exchange rate after he changed some nairas to dollars recently, Naija News understands.

According to Davido in a tweet on his verified Twitter account on Monday, November 30, he almost cried after he found out that a dollar has risen to N500 in the current exchange rate.

“Dollar don reach 500… I changed naira to dollar today and I almost cried smh this country Nawa,” said Davido.

Meanwhile, Davido had said earlier in a video clip that he is tired of making money.

Davido’s recent reaction about the dollar increase, however, left a lot of people with surprise as the singer is known to be born into wealth and for the fact that he is making money in his music career.

In another news, Nigerian hip hop singer, Wizkid has won the 2020 BET Soul Train Award alongside American superstar Beyoncé for their collaboration on the song, Brown Skin Girl.
