The Hisbah Commission has continued its efforts to enforce Islamic law in the North despite the lack of support from some Nigerians

Naija News learnt that Hisbah Commission conducts a house-to-house search in Hills and Valley Park in Kano on Friday

Earlier this month, the commission destroyed more than 300 million bottles of beer in Katsina, Kano and Kaduna states.

Hisbah officials in Kano State on Friday conducted a search operation in the Hills and Valley, a tourist attraction in Dawakin Kudu, Kano.

SaharaReporters reported that staff were forced to patrol Hisbah officials around the building.

During the investigation, Hisbah officials searched every room and other places to identify the perpetrators.

Despite the opposition of some Nigerians, the Hisbah Commission continues to try to establish Islamic ideology in the north.

The commission has created Islamic law in some states, banning stylish hair cuts, sagging of trousers, playing of music at social events by disk jockeys, and seizing tricycles adorned with images that are deemed un-Islamic.

The commission also banned the use of two women on a single rental motorcycle.
