Widow Of Vendor Killed By Gbajabiamila’s Aide Disowns Family Over N500m Demand

Josephine Okereke, the wife of the newspaper vendor who was shot by a security aide attached to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, has disowned her husband’s family for demanding for the sum of N500m as compensation.

The woman disclosed this while speaking at a press conference in Abuja on Thursday.

Information gathered revealed that the family of Ifeanyichukwu Okereke requested for the sum of N500m from the speaker.

Recall that DSS last week identified the security aide as it’s operative and Gbajabiamila last week also visited the family of the deceased and promised to take care of the family and the education fee of the deceased kids.

Thefamily, however, requested for more, adding that nothing could bring the dead vendor back to life.

The widow in her reaction said she is not aware of the demands of her husband’s family, she charged the speaker to ignore the family, fulfil his promises to her and her two children.
