Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Burna Boy has taken to his Snapchat account to brag about being number one following his nomination in the 2021 Grammy Award list.

Naija News understands that the African Giant’s name appeared in the Grammy nomination list for the second time in a row a few hours ago.

It could be recalled that the 29-year-old singer had lost an award in the 2020 Grammy Awards which he appeared in the same category with legendary singer, Angélique Kidjo. However, Burna Boy again got nominated with his most recent album ‘Twice As Tall’ for the ‘Best Global Music Album‘ category at the 2021 Grammy Awards, Naija News reports.

Boasting on his achievement a few moments ago, Burna Boy took to the social media to indirectly shade his fellow singers declaring himself as the number one artist, adding that power has changed hands.

He wrote: “POWER HAS CHANGED HANDS. Accept and move on. I be #1 before before no be title.”
