The Senate on Tuesday read the letter forwarded to the upper chamber by President Muhammadu Buhari seeking for Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, second term in office.

The Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, on Tuesday read the letter on the floor during plenary.

Lawan called for the consideration of lawmakers in the request for another five-year tenure for Yakubu.
