Joe Biden Confirmed As Winner After Georgia Recount

The United State of Georgia, on Thursday completed the manual recount of all the ballots cast in the November 3 presidential election.

A local official noted that the results confirmed the presidential candidate of the Democratic Party, Joe Biden as the winner in the state.

Brad Raffensperger, in a statement posted on the website of Georgia secretary of state said, “The audit confirmed that the original machine count accurately portrayed the winner of the election.”

The development makes Biden the first Democratic presidential candidate to win the southern US state in almost three decades.

Donald Trump, however, has failed to accept results from the presidential election claiming that their was fraud.
