Aisha And Buhari’s Aide Fight Dirty On Twitter

President Muhammadu Buhari‘s performance so far as Nigeria’s President has led to a Twitter banter between his Personal Assistant, Bashir Ahmad, and Aisha Yesufu, an activist.

Naija News reports that the Twitter war between President Buhari’s aide and Aisha occurred after the co-Covener of the Bring Back Our Girls (BBOG) movement, tweeted: “Since we are in the era of saying it as it is. Let it also be on record that Goodluck Ebele Jonathan wanted Dr. Oby Ezekwesili @obyezeks to be Minister and she refused. The late President Yar’adua also offered her ministerial appointment and she turned it down.“

Apparently displeased with the tweet, Buhari’s aide quoted the tweet with a response: “Saying it as it is, she also begged Nigerians to offer her the Presidency. And, we REJECTED her.”

Mrs. Yesufu replied with what some Twitter users at the time-tagged “savage of the century“, writing: “This from the PA of someone who was rejected 3 times, even tied wrapper to beg for votes. Cried on National TV and was not able to secure his hometown after being voted into office. His people now pay tax to bandits. When was the last time Buhari dared to visit Daura?“

However, Bashir who would not give up easily responded: “The more than 15,000,000 that voted for President Buhari and the more than 11,000,000 that voted for Atiku, we all rejected her.”

This did not sit well with Aisha who responded: “She had the guts to say she didn’t want to serve you as your President. Buhari who has no life when he is not in the pay of govt is already having palpitations over the less than 3 years he has to freeload. This time without Daura who are waiting to stone him for his failure.”
