Trump’s Hope Crushed As US Election Officials Debunk Claim Of ‘Deleted’ Votes

President Donald Trump’s claim that millions of votes from his supporters were deleted in the US Election 2020 has been debunked by US election officials.

Naija News reports that the clarification by the US election officials is coming after President Trump claimed without proof that 2.7 million votes for him had been “deleted“.

A report by the BBC quoted the US election officials to have rejected the fraud claims, adding that the 2020 White House vote was the “most secure in American history”.

Similalrly, a committee went further to announce that “there is no evidence that any voting system deleted or lost votes, changed votes, or was in any way compromised.”

While the 3 November election as projected by all the major US TV networks favoured President-elect Joe Biden, Trump who contested the election on the platform of the Republican party has yet to concede to his Democrat counterpart.

Meanwhile, Joe Biden, is now projected to have won Arizona, extending his lead by 11 electoral college votes to a total of 290, with President Trump who was seeking a second term in office on 217. It is the first time the state has voted Democrat since 1996.
