Biafra: Nnamdi Kanu Speaks As Court Rejects His Fresh Bail Application

Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has listed four things that the North prefer in Nigeria.

Naija News reports that Kanu said while the South wants meritocracy, freedom of information, education for all, secularism, and #EndSARS, the North, on the other hand, seems to oppose all.

This online news platform understands that the IPOB leader who doubles as the Director of Radio Biafra made this claim in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter.

According to Kanu, one of the things that the North wants is that its North opposes merit but prefers a quota system. It added that the people from the northern part of Nigeria prefer “suppression of social media”.

The vocal IPOB leader who is currently in exile added that the North prefers Sharia and #ProSARS- supporting the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), a department of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), which has since been disbanded by the Inspector-General of Police (IGP).

Kanu added that if the people from the North oppose “merit (prefers quota system), suppression of social media, Almajiri education, prefers Sharia and #ProSARS” why is Nigeria “still called #OneNigeria”

The IPOB leader tweeted: “The South wants meritocracy, freedom of information, education for all, secularism & #EndSARS.

“The North opposes merit (prefers quota system), suppression of social media, Almajiri education, prefers Sharia & #ProSARS. So, why is it still called #OneNigeria?”
