Ukraine’s President Tests Positive For COVID-19

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskiy on Monday, disclosed that he tested positive for COVID-19.

Zelenskiy in a post on Twitter stated that he will be carrying out his duties in self-isolation while being treated for coronavirus

He said, “There are no lucky people for whom #COVID19 does not pose a threat. Despite all the quarantine measures, I received a positive test.”

“However, I feel good. I promise to isolate myself and I continue to work.”

The deadly virus has led to the death of 8,565 people in the country.
