Boss Mustapha Storms Court, Testifies Against Emefiele In $6.2 Million Fraud Case

The Federal Government has announced the death of the Permanent Secretary, Cabinet Affairs Office in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babatunde Lawal.

Lawal’s death was confirmed in a statement issued on Monday evening by the Permanent Secretary (General Services Office) in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Dr. Maurice Nnamdi Mbaeri.

The federal government statement noted that the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr. Boss Mustapha, expressed sadness over the death.

The statement revealed that Lawal, who was also Deputy Secretary of the Federal Executive Council, died on Friday, November 6, 2020 at the age of 56 years.

“With total submission to the will of God, the public service of the Federal Republic of Nigeria announces the passing unto glory of Babatunde Lawal, Permanent Secretary, Cabinet Affairs Office, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation and Deputy Secretary of the Federal Executive Council which sad event occurred on Friday November 6, 2020 at the age of 56 years,” the statement said.
