Niger Governor, Bello Is COVID-19 Positive
Governor Abubakar Bello of Niger State has tested positive for COVID-19.
The Governor disclosed this himself via a post on his Twitter handle where he added that he has already gone into isolation.
He added that he is asymptomatic.
He tweeted: “I have tested positive to #COVID19. However, I am asymptomatic and have gone into isolation.”

Meanwhile, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded three hundred new cases of the deadly coronavirus (COVID-19).
The NCDC made this known in a post on its Twitter page on Sunday night.
Naija News reports that the new cases of COVID-19 show Lagos-255 FCT-27 Oyo-10 Kaduna-5 Ondo-2 Kano-1.
The Coronavirus cases bring the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 64,090.
59,910 patients have been discharged so far with 1,154 unfortunate deaths recorded by the NCDC.
