Kaduna Goverment Installs Bamalli As New Emir Of Zazzau

Governor Nasir El-Rufai led government has called on people of Kaduna State to turn out in their numbers as the state government installs Ahmed Bamalli as the new Emir of Zazzau.

The former Ambassador will be installed as the 19th emir of Zazzau today, (Monday), at the Muhammadu Aminu Square, Race Course, GRA Zaria.

The development was disclosed by the Chairman of the Central Working Committee for the installation ceremony, Ja’afaru Sani, on Sunday.

The Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, noted that arrangements had been put in place to facilitate smooth conduct of the installation ceremony.

Sani further stated that Bamalli would host a special durbar as part of activities lined up to celebrate the installation.

He urged residents of the state to pray for peace, unity and prosperity of Zazzau Emirate and the state at large.
