Kaduna-born actress, singer, Rahama Sauda has been suspected for the second time from acting.

Naija News understands that the Kannywood actress’s suspension was coming following some photos considered as ‘provocative’ which she posted on social media recently.

The Northern filmmakers under the umbrella of Motion Picture Practitioners Association of Nigeria, MOPPAN, in their reaction to the development which allegedly resulted in blasphemous comments on the Islam Prophet Muhammad (SAW) decided to take disciplinary measure on the actress by suspending her from acting over.

This was revealed in a statement signed and released on Friday, November 6 by the PRO, Al-Amin Chiroma.

According to Chiroma, MOPPAN condemned the recent act by the 26-year-old which resulted in blasphemous comments on Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

Meanwhile, Rahama had appeared in a video earlier apologising for to her loved ones, family and friends for the response of her fans to her condemned appearance.

Naija News recalls that Rahama’s condemnation started after she was dragged by Arewa Twitter handle over her style of dress which according to them is uncharacteristic of a female Muslim.

Rahma was first suspended by the Northern film body in 2016 for dressing indecently in a music video with a hip-hop artist Classique, Naija News recalls.

She was, however, given a conditional pardon in 2018 under the leadership of Isma’ila Naabba Afakalla.
