The state of Georgia has announced Friday that it would conduct a vote recount.
The race in Georgia “remains too close,” local Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger said at a press conference in Atlanta. “With such a slim margin, there will be a recount in Georgia.”
The recount in Georgia, which no Democrat has won since 1992, swung in favour of Joe Biden early Friday morning.
Biden currently leads in Georgia by 1,586 votes, Pennsylvania by 6,802 votes, Nevada by 11,438 votes, and Arizona by 43,569 votes.
