Lagos: APC Replies As PDP Guber Candidate Calls For Sanwo-Olu’s Resignation

The Lagos State Government led by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has announced that the curfew imposed on the southwest state will now be from 10 pm till 6 am.

Naija News reports that the development was announced in a statement on Friday evening by the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso.

This online news platform recalls that Governor Sanwo-Olu had imposed a curfew on the state on October 20 following a break down of law and order during the #EndSARS protests.

The statement by the commissioner said: “Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu praises Lagosians for observing the curfew, which is expected to restore normalcy in our communities.

“He urges all Lagosians to go about their businesses in peace, even as they shun ‘actions that can threaten our unity’.

“The Governor advises purveyors of fake news to stop causing disaffection among Lagosians, who are well known for being peace-loving and friendly,” the statement read.
