Newborn Baby Found Dead Inside Church In Rivers State [Photo]

An infant has been found dead inside a partially fenced Church in Rivers State capital city, Port Harcourt.

Naija News understands that the lifeless child, dumped by a yet to be identified parent was wrapped in an Ankara material and kept somewhere in the Church located at Ozuoba junction, along NTA-Mgbuoba Road in Obio-Akpor local government area of the state.

It was reported that the baby was found cold inside the church surrounding on Monday, October 26. According to residents of Ozuoba and Rumuosi communities in Obio-Akpor LGA, the baby died as a result of exposure to cold.

However, no comment has been received from authorities as regards the incident as at the time this report was given.

Meanwhile, a lady identified as Ada Oma on Twitter has accused a soldier with the Nigerian Army of assaulting her during an incident at an ATM stand on Monday, Naija News reports.
