An officer of the Nigeria Customs Service has been reportedly murdered in Jigawa State by some yet to be identified gunmen on the early hour of Sunday, October 25.

According to the report reaching Naija News at this moment, the NCS official was attacked and killed while on patrol at Kyarama, a village in Ringim Local Government Area of the State.

It was reported that another officer escaped with a series of injuries during the attack. Naija News learnt that the unidentified gunmen had disguised as informants of the NCS, called the officers on patrol and informed them that there was a car that smuggled rice along the road.
