Finally, President Buhari Breaks Silence On #LekkiMassacre

Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari has said a total of 69 people have lost their lives as a result of the EndSars protests that have turned violent in the country.

Buhari made the remarks during a meeting with former Nigerian leaders and security chiefs on Friday at his Aso Villa palace.

Among the dead were 51 civilians, 11 policemen and seven soldiers.

Meanwhile, Feminist Coalition, a leading organization behind the EndSARS protests in Nigeria, has advised young people to be patient with the protests and stay at home.

Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has announced the gradual easing of the 72-hour curfew imposed on the state.

Speaking during a statewide broadcast on Friday, October 23, Governor Sanwo-Olu said the curfew in Lagos would be lifted on Saturday morning by 8 am and there will be movement till 6 pm.
