#LekkiMassacre: Fr Mbaka Under Fire Over Claims That ‘Buhari Is A Prayer Answered’

Nigerians have taken to the social media to blast Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, the Spiritual Director of the Adoration Ministry Enugu, over his past claim that God revealed to him that President Muhammadu Buhari is a “prayer answered”.

Naija News recalls that the clergyman who campaigned for the incumbent president in 2015, stated in a video that went viral then that the Nigerian President “is the answer God gave to Nigerians when they prayed”.

Reacting to the video which resurfaced online following the massacre that happened in Lekki Toll Gate today, October 20, Nigerians on social media condemned Fr Mbaka for his convincing claim that Buhari is a prayer answered by God to address Nigeria’s challenges as faced in the previous administration.

Nigerian singer and rapper, Phyno, on Tuesday (today), a few moments after the disheartening attack on peaceful #EndSARS protesters in Lagos, took to his Instagram account to call out Fr Mbaka. He shared the above video with the caption “God told you nothing”.

Also joining in calling out the clergyman, former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, took to his Twitter account to make a mockery of Fr Mbaka’s claim of hearing from God.

Reno tweeted; “People of God prayer, from here and there. God answered. God answered our prayers and gave us @MBuhari. God has told us that Buhari is a prayer answered – Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka.”

Some netizens also in their reactions noted that Fr Mbaka has never heard the voice of God but of the devil. Some others, however, admitted that Mbaka truly heard the voice of God as Buhari is now the key to the revolution which many have been clamouring for in the country.
