The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, on Tuesday, met with the members of the diplomatic corps in Abuja over the #EndSARS protest rocking the nation.
Naija News reports that the meeting was held at the Tafawa Balewa House headquarters of the ministry in Abuja.
Those at the meeting include envoys of the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, amongst others.
An invitation extended to journalists to cover the briefing was later withdrawn.
Nigeria has been rocked with protest with Nigeria youths calling for the end to police brutality.
Despite the protest being largely peaceful, thugs have taken the opportunity to attack and rob members of the public.
Thugs have also attacked and burnt down police stations in Edo and Lagos State.
This led to the State Government of both states declaring a 24-hour curfew to quell the unrest.
