The General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries (OFM), Apostle Johnson Suleman, has reacted to the prison break recorded in Benin City, Edo state capital earlier today.

Naija News had reported earlier that hoodlums hijacked #EndSARS protesters in Benin City, Edo State on Monday. The hoodlums in the process invaded prisons in the southern state and freed inmates.

Reacting to the ugly incident, Apostle Suleman said he does not “understand what is going on in Benin, Edo State”, wondering why some youths are “extorting money from street hawkers and breaking into places (referring to the prison break)”

On this note, the Apostle stressed that he “hereby disassociate” himself from anything or anyone “hijacking peaceful protest to cause insurrection”, adding that “goodwill has an expiry date.”

Apostle Suleman tweeted: “I really don’t understand what’s going on in Benin, Edo state-Nigeria..some youths extorting money from street hawkers, breaking into places, etc…I hereby disassociate myself from anything or anyone hijacking peaceful protest to cause insurrection..goodwill has an expiry date.”

The General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries, therefore, called on the #EndSARS protesters in Benin City to leave the protest ground, adding that “breaking into a prison” and setting the “prisoners free is a call for anarchy.”

Apostle Suleman advised the #EndSARS protesters not to be “part of those who are taking advantage of a good cause”, stressing that they “cannot be administering a cure more dangerous than the disease.”

The fiery cleric tweeted: “Please every wise youth in Benin city-Edo state, leave the protest ground..breaking into a prison and set the prisoners free is a call for anarchy..don’t be part of those who are taking advantage of a good cause..you cant be administering a cure more dangerous than the disease.”
