Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 133 New COVID-19 Cases In Nigeria

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) on Sunday evening, 18th October 2020, confirmed 133 new cases of coronavirus disease infection in Nigeria.

Naija News reports that the new cases of COVID-19 infection were confirmed via a statement on the official Twitter handle of the health agency.

The development brings the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria to 61,440 which includes 56,611 discharged cases and 1,125 deaths.

Below is the breakdown of the latest cases according to states with Lagos State recording the highest number of new confirmed cases, followed by Rivers State and FCT.
