Gov. Sanwo-Olu Deploys Security To Protect #EndSARS Protesters From Hoodlums
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has condemned the attack on the #EndSARS protesters in Lagos and some other cities in the country.
The Governor made his views known when he reacted to the attacks on innocent protesters in Alausa, Lagos State by some hoodlums earlier on Thursday.
Sanwo-Olu acknowledged that the hoodlums were attempting to cause chaos in the peaceful protest but said his government will not tolerate the protesters and will therefore deploy security agents to protect the peaceful #EndSARS protesters.
He wrote on his Twitter account: “I strongly condemn the attack of peaceful protesters by armed and unscrupulous elements trying to cause chaos in Alausa today.”
“My government will never tolerate the attack of protesters. Security agents will immediately protect peaceful protesters from miscreants.”
