#ENDSARS: Lagos Speaker, Obasa Sponsored Thugs Who Disrupted Protest – Sowore
As the #EndSARS protests continues, Omoyele Sowore, convener of the Revolution Now Movement, has accused Lagos State House of Assembly Speaker, Mudasiru Obasa of being the brain behind armed thugs who attacked protesters at the Assembly premises yesterday.
Sowore tweeted that the thugs who went to disrupt the protests at the Alausa House of Assembly complex, were sponsored by Obasa.
He tweeted: “HAPPENING NOW: Large contingent of armed thugs brought in from Agege, sponsored by Lagos Speaker, Obasa and @OfficialAPCNg operatives are attacking #EndSWAT protesters at the Lagos State Assembly’s premises. Many have been injured! #”
He has also tweeted a video with the caption: “These are the armed thugs Deployed against peaceful #EndSARS protesters in Lagos operating openly while @policengoperatives look the other way, they are mistaken, the will of the people will prevail.”
However, as at the time of this report, the speaker, Obasa had not yet reacted to the allegations.
