John Boyega has taken to Twitter to react to the End SARS protest that’s still ongoing despite announcement by the Inspector-general of Police, Mohammed Adamu that it had been dissolved.

The British-Nigerian actor stated that the movement only shows that Nigerians “are done managing faith without action”.

Boyega added that he is totally supporting the movement.

Commenting on the huge crowd that turned up for the #EndSARS protest in Lekki today, he wrote:  “I have a feeling that this is more than just SARS. Nigerians want true change! They are done managing faith without practical action and we support you.”

In a quick reaction to the introduction of the new police unit, Special Weapons and Tactics Team – (SWAT); Nigerians who are still not satisfied with the decision started to kick against it, with the Hashtag #EndSWAT.

Recall NaijaNews reported that Mohammed Adamu, the Inspector General of Police (IGP), on Tuesday set up a new tactical unit to replace the disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).

In a statement by the Force spokesman, Frank Mba, the new unit is named Special Weapons and Tactics Team – (SWAT).
