JUST IN: Ondo Assembly Passes 2024 Budget Into Law

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has suspended and expelled Hon Tomomewo Favour, the only female member of the Ondo State House of Assembly representing Ilaje Constituency II.

Naija News reports that Hon. Favour was expelled from the party by the executive of her ward (Mahin ward IV).

The ward chairman, Olamigoke Ajimuda and the ward secretary Omosule Taid signed her expulsion letter dated October 12th, 2020.

She was accused of engaging in anti-party activities before and during the just concluded Ondo State Governorship Election.

Recall the lawmaker was one of the members of the assembly that were against the impeachment of the deputy governor Hon Agboola Ajayi two months ago.

Agboola had dumped the APC for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) after falling out with Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.

He later left the PDP for the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) to contest the Ondo governorship election.

He however came third in the poll behind Eyitayo Jegede of the PDP and Akeredolu, the eventual winner of the election.
