Governor Nyesom Wike has banned all forms of protests in Rivers State and particularly, the #EndSARS protests currently rocking many cities across the country.

The Governor in a statement on Monday evening, announced that no form of #EndSARS protest will be allowed in the state.

#EndSARS: Why Buhari Does Not Need To Sign Executive Order – Bashir Ahmad

Personal Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, on Monday noted that the President does not need to sign an Executive Order disbanding the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS.

The Presidential aide who took to his Twitter account noted that the arms of the Nigerian Police is an administrative creation of the Inspector-General of Police and not created by an executive order or legislative act.

Ondo: Eyitayo Jegede Charged To Join APC, Work With Akeredolu

The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the Ondo State election, Eyitayo Jegede, has been charged by a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, to defeat to the ruling party.

This is coming after the Independent National Electoral Commission, declared the candidate of the APC, Rotimi Akeredolu as winner of the election.

ASUU Reveals Only Solution To End Strike

The President of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, Prof. Biodun Ogunyemi, during meeting with the leadership of the Senate on Monday presented an alternative to the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System, IPPIS.

Ondo: Why We Can’t Congratulate APC Yet – PDP

The Peoples Democratic Party has revealed it’s position on the October 10 governorship election in Ondo State which saw Governor Akeredolu declared as winner.

The opposition party noted that it will not congratulate the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, following the appeal by the Caretaker Chairman of the party, Governor Mai Mala Buni.
