#EndSARS: Criminals Don’t Reform Criminals – Charly Boy React To Police Reform

Nigerian singer and songwriter, Charles Chukwuemeka Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy has reacted to the ongoing #EndSars campaign across all states of the country.

The entertainer in a post on his Instagram account on Tuesday described the call for police reform as ‘criminals reforming criminals.’ Charley Boy alleged that it is the same reformed Boko Haram members that are recruited into the Nigerian Military and Police Force.

Naija News understands that the call to the controversial unit of the police force and reforming the force has gained prominence in the country and Internationally in the last few days.

However, Charley Boy who has in the past lead a group of protesters to counter the government described police reforms as a joke, while pointing out that criminals don’t reform criminals.

He said; “I thank God sey finally finally our Mumu don dey belleful Us. The “reformed” Boko Haram killers no be the same people dem put for Nigerian Army and police? After you disban sars where you go put dem. Calling for police reform is a joke, una don see where criminals dey reform criminals. Na me go tell you say dis Government no send anybody?

“My people make we protect ourselves.”
