In the heat of the #ENDSARS, #SarsMustEnd protest today Monday, October 12, an old aged woman was left with a swollen face after an officer of the Nigeria Police Force allegedly slapped her.

According to the woman who was seen lamenting in a now-viral video on social media, her only crime was pointing towards a police station, only for her to be assaulted by an officer in the front of the station.

Expressing her painful experience, the woman promised to take the case up after, noting that she is not a criminal and have the right to point to the station as a free citizen.

She said, “What did I do wrong? I’m a Nigerian. I’m a free citizen. I have the right to point to the police station. I am not a criminal.”

“He now slapped me unjustly, just like that? And he expects to go free? Will he?” She asked in the Yoruba language.

Lamenting on the development, the woman’s daughter who made the video available on the microblogging site wrote; “What did she do! Why would you slap my mum!”
