Agboola Backs Down, Agrees To Return Official Vehicles

Ondo Deputy Governor Agboola Ajayi has defeated Governor Rotimi Akeredolu and Eyitayo Jegede to win his polling unit in the ongoing Ondo 2020 governorship election.

Naija News reports Ondo Deputy Governor swept the polls at his polling unit located at Idumado Quarters, Kiribo, Ese-Odo Local Government of Ondo State, southwest Nigeria.

Ajayi, who is the governorship candidate of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) scored 395 votes while Governor Akeredolu who is the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nigeria’s ruling party pulled just 13 votes.

Like Akeredolu, Jegede who is the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Nigeria’s main opposition party, garnered just 5 votes while the candidates of the LP and the AAC got one vote each while six votes were voided.

Election results at Idumado Quarters, Kiribo, Ese-Odo

ZLP – 395 votes

APC – 13 votes

PDP – 5 votes

LP – 1 vote

AAC – 1 vote.
