There Is Nothing To Hide From EFCC – Obasa

The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, said he was ready to accept an invitation from the EFCC.

Obasa, who faces charges of corruption and bribery, said he had nothing to run for and that the commission did not know, as a lawmaker he knew he should.

“I have nothing to hide; “As a responsible citizen and lawmaker, I honoured the invitation,” he said.

He added, “The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) sent me an invitation on Thursday.

“When we are called upon by law-enforcement agents in their investigations, as responsible citizens, it’s our duty to oblige them.”

He made the remarks in response to an invitation extended to him by the commission over the allegations against him.
