We Are Nigerians And Shall Remain One - Buhari Sends Message To Biafra, Yoruba Nation Agitators

President Muhammadu Buhari has said that the people of Nigeria have every right to protest against police brutality.

The president stated this while reacting to the ongoing #ENDSARS protest in a post on the microblogging site of his personal assistant on new media, Bashir Ahmad.

According to him, citizens have every right to express their dissatisfaction with whatever they feel is not going on well in the country. Bashir noted that the president has been briefed about the ongoing protest and the demands of the youth, adding that he will soon take action in the best interest of Nigerians.

The tweet reads: “Good people of Nigeria have every right to protest the #PoliceBrutality or anything they see is not going on well. The President was briefed yesterday by the IG of Police, I am very sure action will be taken and in the best interest of Nigerians. #EndSARSProtests”
