Controversial On-Air Personality and leader of the Free the Sheeple Movement, Daddy Freeze has countered Nigerian gospel singers and evangelists, Wale Adenuga and Nathaniel Bassey for condemning Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State over ambassadorship conferred on 2020 BBNaija winner, Laycon.

Naija News reports earlier that Wale Adenuga condemned Governor Dapo Abiodun for offering BBNaija star, Laycon a monetary gift and as well making him a youth ambassador in the state.

According to Adenuga, the governor rewarding Laycon with 5 million Naira and a house “further entrenches the sad narrative that we are a nation that rewards trivialities and frivolities.”

See the post below;

Reacting to Adenuga’s post, Nathaniel Bassey commended the fellow singer and noted that he is highlighting the idea of the gifts by the governor and not against the person involved.

He posted, “God bless you pastor Wale for posting this. Many are twisting this already. I believe pastor Wale is highlighting the idea of this and not necessarily about the person involved.

“I would personally frown at @wale.adenuga calling a human being a dog. And in fact will call him to edit it. But in this case that was a figure of speech. Not referring to the young man. It’s more about the idea.”

However, Daddy Freeze who was not satisfied with the above comments by the two gospel men, took to his Instagram account to say that Laycon is entitled to the gift and ambassadorship conferred on him.

He posted, “I don’t get this. @itslaycon deserves this and more. He represented Nigeria well in the house and is entitled to the good fortune his fame as the winner of BBN lockdown is bringing to him.”

Speaking about reality show winner’s education background an intellectuality, Daddy Freeze added, “Laycon finished from the University of Lagos with a 2:1, a second class upper. He has showcased his tenacity, despite his health challenges and is a beacon of hope to our youths in a time of crises and despair, by combining his talent as a musician and his academic prowess with the brawn needed to win BBN.”

“So why should those who support him be discouraged? Reform police una no talk, Na Laycon be Nigeria problem?”

“Guys, this one no enter, face midnight challenges or whatever else it is that you do or are you tired of preaching about the ‘favor of God’ that Laycon is supposedly enjoying? Thank you.”
