Again Gunmen Kidnapped Another Lawmaker’s Son In Jigawa

One Abdullahi Ishaku has been reportedly whisked away by some yet to be identified gunmen in Jigawa State.

The kidnapped victim according to the report reaching Naija News at this time, is a son to Honourable Isiyaku Sani, a house of assembly member representing Auyo Local Government Area of the state.

It was reported that Ishaku was kidnapped in his residence at Shagari Quarters in Hadejia local government area of the state on October 4, 2020, at about 2:00 pm. The heavily armed men reportedly seized the victim’s phone, his wife’s phone and his vehicle keys during the raid.

Isyaku is said to be a classroom teacher at the Government Girls College M/Madori in Malam-Madori town.

Speaking to newsmen on the incident, a resident who seems close to Ishaku told newsmen that the gunmen are yet to reach out to anybody from the family for ransom.

On his part, the state police spokesman, SP Abdu Jinjiri who confirmed the incident told newsmen that the victim’s vehicle was towed to the station for safekeeping and police are in a move to arrest the criminals and rescue the victim.

“The case is still under investigation,” Jinjiri noted.

Meanwhile, the Rivers State Commissioner of Police, Joseph Mukan, on Tuesday noted that the command has identified the Kidnapper of the young Lawyer, Bisola Paullete Ajayi.
