Ondo2020: INEC Chairman Pays Readiness Assessment Visit To Ondo Ahead Of October 10 Polls

Chairman, Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu has paid a readiness assessment visit to Ondo State ahead of the October 10 governorship elections in the state.

Naija News understands that Yakubu, alongside National Commissioners, Technical Teams and Directors on Sunday, October 4 visited the Ifedore Local Government office of the commission to inspect all sensitive and non-sensitive election materials supplied for the governorship polls.

Receiving the INEC chairman and his team, the electoral officer of Ifedore, Mrs Ebun Heritage Gbogbo pledged to ensure free, fair and credible elections on October 10.

Mrs Gbogbo noted that only 64,640 out of the 75,253 permanent voters card printed were collected by electorates in the state.
