Why PDP Will Continue To Get Bigger In Ondo - Jegede

Ten out of seventeen political parties participating in the Ondo State governorship election have withdrawn from the October 10 governorship election.

The political parties decided to drop their ambition for the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Eyitayo Jegede.

The parties are Accord Party, Action Alliance, Action Democratic Party, APGA, and AAC.

Others include, APM, APP, NNPP, NRM, and SDP.

The Chairman of Social Democratic Party in the state, Oladele Ogunbameru, while speaking on behalf of the political parties noted that the decision was made at a meeting held on October 4, 2020 with the party leaders and chieftains of the PDP.

Ogunbameru added that the decision was taken following the desire for good governance in the state.

The Chairman of PDP, Fatai Adams, while reacting to the development said the support from the 10 political parties indicated acceptability of Jegede which shows that the party will emerge victorious at the poll.
