Donald Trump’s Party Chairperson, Ronna McDaniel Tests Positive For COVID-19

Barely 24 hours after it was reported that President of the United States, Donald Trump and his wife, Melania, tested positive for Coronavirus, the Republican National Committee Chairperson, Ms Ronna McDaniel, has also tested positive for the same.

Naija News learnt that Ms McDaniel who now recovering from her home in Michigan, was confirmed positive for the novel virus since Wednesday noon, but was announced to the public domain on Friday (today), October 2.

Confirming the development, the spokesperson of the party, Steve Guest said “After a member of her family tested positive for COVID-19, the chairwoman was tested for the virus.”

“On Wednesday afternoon, she got confirmation she was COVID-19 positive. She has been at her home in Michigan since last Saturday.”

Meanwhile, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari has conveyed a message of quick recovery to Donald Trump, President of the United States, and his wife, Melanie.
