Federal High Court in Abuja, has restrained the police from arresting and detaining Former Minister of State for Education, Kenneth Gbagi.

Naija News recalls that , Kenneth Gbagi last Friday allegedly arrested the four staff working in Signatious Hotel, Warri, Delta State, after they were stripped naked and photographed inside the hotel before finally handing them over to the police.

After dehumanizing the staff – a male and three females – they were taken to the Ebrumede Police Station to be remanded in custody.

Subsequently, Gbagi was then declared wanted by the police on Wednesday September 30, over the inhuman treatment of his hotel staffs.

However, the former Minister has now obtained an ex-parte application for the enforcement of his fundamental rights from Federal High Court in Abuja.

Justice Taiwo O Taiwo, presiding Judge of the Court in Abuja, has restrained the police from arresting and detaining the industrialist.
