Nnamdi Kanu Will Be Freed But... - Reno Omokri Tells Igbos What To Do

A former Presidential media aide, Reno Omkri has urged Omoyele Sowore, the convener of RevolutionNow Movement to leave Nigerian singer, Burna Boy, out of his planned October 1st protest.

Naija News recalls that Sowore, a former Presidential candidate and human rights activist, had called on the singer to join his  RevolutionNow protest which is scheduled to hold October 1 in all 36 states across Nigeria as well as in London, Sweden, Netherlands, San Francisco, New York, Washington DC, Germany and Canada.

The politician had invited Burna Boy ina post on social media network, Instagram, saying that many describe Burna Boy as a revolutionary musician and taht he has been likened to the late afrobeat legend Fela Kuti

“@burnaboygram everywhere I turn people describe you as a revolutionary musician, the foreign media even celebrate you compare you to Fela Kuti, but I am yet to see you lead anyone to a police station carrying a coffin for head of state! Join #Oct1stProtest #revolutionnow,” Sowore wrote.

However, Burna replied, but in an unexpected way as he clarified that he is not Fela,  and hence should be left out of the planned protest, noting that the person conducting the election is a politician.

Burna Boy tweeted: “@YeleSowore Well. I am NOT FELA. I Have said that countless times. But you sir Are a politician. Leave me out of your schemes. Thanks.”

Reacting, Omokri called on Sowore to focus on “his President Muhammadu Buhari” and leave Burna Boy alone.
