Davido Suspends Wedding With Chioma Indefinitely

Davido has suspended the proposed wedding between him and his fiance, Chioma Avril Rowland, popularly known as Chef Chi with a new date to be decided later

The wedding had earlier been scheduled for July this year but it had to be suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic that had altered activities across the world.

During an interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on Bounce Radio Live, Davido was asked when the wedding would happen and he said “I have decided probably sometimes next year or whenever … for now, I want her to walk on her business.. Album… Kids”

He revealed that he met his fiance about seven years ago through his manager Lati and they started dating about five years ago.

When he was asked about what attracted him to Chef Chi, Davido described her as a very reserved, accomodating and caring person who he could leave his other kids with.

He also spoke on losing mum when he was 10 and how it really affected him while growing up.
