FG-NLC Deal: We Won’t Revert To Old Tariffs – Discos

Electricity distribution companies on Tuesday denied its willingness to revert to the old tariffs following the agreement between the Federal Government and the Labour on Monday.

The body noted that it has not briefed about the agreements between government and labour.

Sources which spoke with Punch stated that the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission has not yet notified the firms about the suspension.

The power firms in its reaction say reverting their bills to the previous tariff arrangement will take at least three days.

Recall that Labour canceled its planned Nationwide strike after the Federal Government agreed to adjust the increament in electricity bill.
