BBNaija: Ogun Governor Congratulates Laycon For Winning N85m Grand Prize

The governor of Ogun State, southwest Nigeria, Dapo Abiodun, has congratulated Nigerian rapper, Olamilekan Agbelesebioba popularly known as Laycon for emerging the winner of the Big Brother Naija Lockdown reality television show.

Naija News had reported earlier that Laycon emerged the sixth winner of the reality tv show on Sunday, September 27 after scoring the highest votes of 60% from the viewing public to beat Dorathy Bachor who came second.

In a congratulatory message to Laycon via his official Twitter account on Monday, Governor Abiodun said the victory of the Nigerian singer had aptly confirmed his brilliance, intellect and maturity.

Governor Abiodun said his Administration would continue to support and empower the youth via numerous channels.

The Ogun governor tweeted, “I am delighted to congratulate one of our own in Ogun State, Olamilekan Agbelesebioba, AKA @itsLaycon for emerging winner of @BBNaija Lockdown.

“The pacesetter that you are, you have emerged one of the best in academic and social engagements, so this victory is aptly a confirmation of your brilliance, intellect and maturity.

“Our Administration will continue to support and empower the youth via numerous channels, towards inclusion, job creation, and the utility of our natural youthful energy.

“Youths of Ogun State, Nigeria, Africa and in fact the world over, see you as the face of positive revolution in the history of African entertainment.”
