How I Prophesied Victory For Obaseki In Edo – Primate Ayodele

Primate Elijah Ayodele has reiterated how he correctly predicted the outcome of the September 19 governorship election in Edo State in favour of Godwin Obaseki of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

He narrated that it had been revealed to him that Obaseki would emerge victorious in the polls if he can work against manipulation and that was exactly what happened.

Naija News recalls Obaseki who contested on the platform of the PDP, polled 307,955 votes in Saturday’s election to defeat all other candidates including Osagie Ize-Iyamu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who polled 223,619 votes.

Speaking after the results had been declared officially by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Primate Ayodele recalled how he had earlier spoken about issues surrounding the politics of Edo State.

In a statement on Tuesday, the clergyman narrated that his prophecy has “just been fulfilled as he put it but that it was worthy of note that the words put Obaseki on serious alert.”

“These prophecies also helped the people of Edo to have a direction of what God wants for them in the election, which in turn made them vote massively for Godwin Obaseki.

“It is evident that Godwin Obaseki worked seriously against every form of manipulation in the election, videos were seen where he was personally searching vehicles against stolen ballot boxes,” he added.
