‘Uzodinma, Omo-Agege Chilling With Oshiomhole While PDP Govs Are Being Harassed’
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has accused the Nigeria Police of harassing its governors ahead of the Edo State governorship election.
The accusation was made in an emergency press conference by the national chairman of the party, Prince Uche Secondus.
The PDP chairman claimed that Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo state and the deputy senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege were chilling in the Benin home of Adams Oshiomhole while PDP governors were being harassed in the Edo state capital.

Just days after the former Council chairman of the university of Lagos (UNILAG), Dr. Wale Babalakin to resign from his position, another member of the Governing Council of Mr. Bayo Adaralegbe has followed suit.
Recall that the wake of crisis which continues rockingthe school’s leadership cabinet, began when a drastic move was made by the council to sack the Vice Chancellor, Professor Oluwatoyin Ogundipe.

The Rivers State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has warned that no evil must befall Governor Nyesom Wike in Edo State.
This position was made known by Ambassador Akawor Desmond, Chairman PDP Rivers State in a statement on Friday evening where he called the attention of the Police IG, Mohammed Adamu to some political developments in Edo State.

The Federal Government led by President Muhammadu Buhari has apologized to Nigerians for giving misleading information on the completion of self-certification forms by bank account holders.
The government acknowledged it made a mistake in its earlier directive as regards the category of people expected to complete a self-certification form.

Godwin Obaseki, Edo state incumbent Governor, and Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party has declared that he has no interest in anyone’s blood spilling as a result of his second term bid.
Specifically he begged God to let him lose his re-election bid “if it will cost the blood of anybody.”
He made this known while reassuring that the election in the state would be free of any form of violence.
