Some voters are currently unable to vote in Saturday’s governorship election in Edo State after the card reader rejected their Permanent Voters’ Card (PVC).

This occurred at PU 001, Uzarue North East ward (10), Etsako West LGA.

The aged women were unable to get accredited as electoral officials told them their “cards were rejected” by the card reader.

Meanwhile, Naija News reports both Godwin Obaseki, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and Osagie Ize-Iyamu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have cast their votes in Saturday’s election.
