#EdoDecides : APC Candidate, Ize-Iyamu ,Cast His Votes

The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress(APC) in Edo State, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, has casted his vote.

Iyamu who expressed confidence that he would win the election voted at exactly 9:30am at polling unit 26, ward 5 in Iguododo community, Orionhwon Local Government Area.

He said, “The accreditation is very easy, I have done that and they gave me the ballot paper. Where the ballot box is placed is covered and that means you can vote with some level of privacy.

“I cannot say that what is happening here is happening all over the state because the communication is not very good.

“I am happy I have been able to vote. I am very confident of winning and I just hope what is happening here is replicated all over the state.”

In another development, The Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, has been called on by the lawmaker representing Omuma constituency in Rivers State House of Assembly, Kelechi Nwogu, to call policemen to order over the alleged siege laid on Governor Nyesom Wike’s hotel.

The lawmaker also condemned the action of the police on Friday.

The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in Rivers State, Akawor Desmond, hadc the hotel where Wike is lodging in Benin City, the capital of Edo State, has been surrounded by over 300 policemen.
