Two Lecturers, 26 Others Arrested For Yahoo Fraud By EFCC

Two lecturers of the Kwara State College of Health Technology, Offa, and 28 others have been arrested for allegedly for internet fraud related issues by officers of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The lecturers includes Abdulahi Opashola and Adebisi Ademola.

While confirming the raid in a statement today, the EFCC spokesman, Dele Oyewale, also listed the suspects to include Kingsley Essien, Tobiloba Adenuga, Tope Ayodele, Rasheed Mujib, Oladipo Opeyemi, Saadu Muktar, Oladejo Hammed, Hammed Tope,  Amaechi Umenyi, Salauden Adam, Afolabi Gafar, Oladimeji Timi, Remilekun Adeolu, Audu John, David Momodu, Abdulkareem Samad, Adebiyi Sodiq, Dawodu Olusoji, and Yusuf Amoo.

Other suspects includes Kehinde Olarenwaju, Philip Mike, Ademola Adebukola, Adeniyi, Adeyemi Adedeji, Ajayi Teslem, Olawale Oladayo, Olasunkanmi Olawale and Adeleke Damilola.

Oyewale made it known that the suspects were raided at different Kwara state locations, following intelligence gathered by the EFCC.

It further noted that there are ongoing efforts to arrest a herbalist linked with the alleged offense.

Items recovered from the suspects include cars, phones, laptop computers, among others.
