It has been revealed that members of 9th National Assembly will not resume to the parliament again as earlier scheduled but until 29th of September, 2020.

Naija News understands that management of the federal parliament postponed its resumption from September 15th to the newly scheduled date.

The development was confirmed on Friday evening, September 11 by the Clerk to the National Assembly, Mr Amos Olatunde, in a statement titled, ‘Special Announcement’.

However, the reason for the postponement was not revealed in the statement but it stated clearly that any inconvenience caused by the action is regretted.

Meanwhile, Naija News reported on Thursday, September 10 that some Ondo State lawmakers have been hindered from having access into the state House of Assembly.
